BEE HAPPY

Scarlet's Easter dress is done.  On Sunday, I tackled the dreaded button holes and discovered my machine does them quite easily. Surprise surprise.

I love the knots in place of the buttons  : )

No outfit is complete without the shoes

I didn't have time to try and find a tiny dress pattern for Janie, so she gets a pair of pants made from the leftover border print.

Quite some time ago, Katja gave me this little label and I have been saving it. It's perfect.

Oh! I bought another quilting book

This is how I justify it

That was easy          : )

pattern is Sister Smocks by Indygo Junction
fabrics are Bee Happy by Henry Glass & Co.

Awe...the little clothes are so adorable! I remember sewing dresses for my girly...now she hates dresses. =( Enjoy making them cute while it lasts...sometimes it doesn't last as long as we hope.

Love the colors! You'll have such a fun Easter. You know that one of the nice advantages of knots-in-place-of-buttons is that you can easily adjust the length of the strap to fit the darling in it.
Happy Easter
