BEE BLOCKS FOR JUNE

It's always fun anticipating the block for each month that I will be asked for. This month's blocks were quick and easy.

For the Humility group of do.good stitches I made some raw edge circle blocks.  Vickey will cut them in four, and mix them with the others. I'm still working from those green and turquoise scraps : )

Then for the Heal group of do.good stitches, Emily asked for a log cabin style block in red white and blues. I made a 22" block and cut it in four, then trimmed each quarter to 10 1/2" She will mix these with the others she gets too

These blocks are for the quilt I'm working on. I received the little 6" churn dash blocks after I had the top together so decided to make it a bit bigger. I made a tall skinny churn dash to make her blocks into a 12" block. It looks a bit odd, but once it's in the quilt I think it will work. I used my new stash builder fabrics to make the other one. Just two more...........

.........and look what landed at my house!  Two more arrows. That little jigger measures 13". I think I'm just waiting on four more, then I can start putting my quilt together

and just in time, I got my block done for the Second Saturday Sampler. Good thing as the meeting is today  : )

That's it for now. Have a great week end.

They all look great. I like that way of doing a log cabin block.

I like the idea of quartering blocks to mix and match new, bigger ones. I am looking forward to seeing an update on the arrows. Nice work!

As always, your post is a feast for a fabric-lover's eyes!!! Where did you find the pattern for the arrows? I like them more and more every time I see them :)
