Diagonal quilting lines made for a quick finish. Then off for a fun photo shoot with my daughter : )
Someone told me it's actually illegal to be on the train tracks. I'm sure the police would understand once they realize I have a quilt blog and HAD to do this!
The back is my last big piece of Fandango and the binding is a plum dot called Sevenberry.
This will be boxed up today and sent off to Nicke who will deliver it to Hospice. I hope it brightens someone's day. Special thanks to my Bee mates from the Heal @do.good stitches group.

It looks fantastic and I love how you have photographed it. I am sure the police would understand that blog excuse.
Beautiful kwilt. MIT has bithtne my day. Great photos. Thanks for paying it forward with your beautiful stitches.
as long as you explain that the quilt with feet is a for a good cause I am sure they would forgive you! Thank goodness you got away from the tracks unscathed!! looks great xx
oh this is so lovely - I still need to make a 'real' churn dash quilt. Nicely done!! And what great pics, ahem, on the tracks and I like the one at the end of the orange car. Fun!
I love churn dash blocks. Great quilt. The rails reminded me of when we'd walk the tracks behind my grandparents house, when I was growing up. We were warned all the time to pay attention and get off the tracks if we heard a train.
A beautiful quilt, Carla! But I especially love your photographs. It's lovely seeing all of that beautiful Kamloops scenery.
The photography is fabulous, and definitely enhanced by your amazing quilt. I am sure the police will understand.... And how nice that you are sending it off to the hospice. Great work!
Gorgeous finish and such a great photo shoot, Carla! Someone is going to feel very lucky and loved to receive this wonderful quilt.
Great Churn Dash quilt! So beautiful and cheery. I'm sure the recipient will feel all the love surrounding them in this quilt. :)
Such a beautiful quilt! And the setting is so fun!! Great job ;)
Fab quilt and pictures.
That is a beautiful quilt Carla. Just finished so beautifully and I love all the photographs you took of it. Both very well done!
Hi Carla! Super jummy quilt and fantastic photos! You find always perfect places to show your beautiful quilts! x Teje
he he he... I am sure they would understand about your blog and the need to have great quilt photos! Lovely quilt!!!!
How scandalous, putting a picture of a crime being committed on your blog! If you MUST lead a life of crime, just watch out for trains. The good news is that it would be awfully hard to prove who is standing on the tracks. I love the picture with the quilt in front of the back of the train. It sure makes the red block stand out.
What a fun quilt! I love the variety that can be created in the simple churn dash.
Fabulous photos, love the quilt/blocks, x
I'm sure you would have "beat the rap" if they'd caught you trying to take those pictures :) They were well worth it!!! Love Churn Dash blocks and this quilt is really a lovely representation of them. Someone is going to love it!!!
This will be another quilt to be loved and cherished! Your photo of it on the back of the train is genius!
Well aren't you just a li'l law breaker!! I hope that your daughter was standing facing the oncoming train. Love, love, love this shot! Another gorgeous finish! Another quilt filled with oodles of hugs and love for some lucky person!!
Such a beautiful quilt and great effort you are contributing to. Love your pics too.
Wow, Carla!! You are on a roll!
So cool! Love the tall skinny one especially. What a great idea, to make it just a lil' bit different.
I'm not sure on the railroads law. Are they being used? If they aren't, you're good.
But yes, I'm sure the police would understand that you had a quilt blog.
Your quilt is lovely and I love all the photos.....especially on the train tracks...:)
Great modern twist on a traditional design. I love it!
Love the back of the traiing.. the red really complements the quilt. Lovely all round
Great photo shoot! The churn dashes are great too!
Your quilt is beautiful and a great photo shoot too :)
The pics are fabulous and also your colorful quilt!
What a great finish and fun photos....so glad you didn't get arrested!! LOL
It looks like you two had a great time at the photo shoot! Nice finish!
You really do find the best quilt photoshoot locations - legal and otherwise!
Love your colorful quilt, and your surroundings!
Your do good stitches group has certainly "churned" out a lot of pretty quilts. This one is great!
Love the photos on the train tracks.
More great photos for another nice finish. You must have lots of fun going on al your photo shoots.
Another amazing photoshoot of a wonderful quilt!
Your bee made some gorgeous blocks! I love the finished quilt, and your photographs are once again amazing!!!
This is a beautiful finish, Carla! I really like the colors, and that Churn Dash block... well, it's one of my most favorite. I have a Churn Dash block quilt on my bed. You're busy with lots of bees, aren't you? Hope you're enjoying them all. Oh, and I really like the pics taken on the train track. It's fun looking for places to take quilt pictures, isn't it? Nice that you have a helper! I don't, so that makes taking pictures a little more challenging.
