Thank you to everyone who voted for my quilt. It made it into the viewers choice. Now it's voting time : ) If you care to cast a vote in the 'original design ' category, you can do that here
Last week I showed you a block for a quilt I was making for a swap. I got the little quilt finished up.
I think it turned out pretty cute
These were foundation paper pieced. The pattern was found here
This little one came about because about 100 years ago, I bought a piece of fabric with cherries on it because one day I might need it. It took longer to find the fabric than it did to piece the ice cream cone. Trust me
One little swap project down, two to go : )

OMGosh....that is super cute! I chuckled at your trying to locate the cherry fabric. I do the same thing! ;-)
I agree - ADORABLE!!! I think I have some cherry fabric around here too!
Looks the most delicious ice cream! x Teje
Cute cones. If you ever need more cherry fabric, I have some.
super cute, Carla!
Love that mini quilt!
Love your ice cream cones!
I tried to vote 3 times for your quilt but it wouldn't let me, LOL
Totally know what you mean with the fabrics...got to get it now because you might need it randomly later..ahem.
How adorable Carla! I had to laugh at you looking for the cherry fabric - I've only done that about a million times LOL!!!! Doesn't seem to matter how organized I think I am, that one piece of fabric that I desperately need is nowhere to be found.....
Perfect use of that little cherry! Mission accomplished. ;)
I love this!!! so cute!!
....and I thought you knew where every li'l smidgen of fabric was hiding! Love your cute li'l ice creams, Carla. Very delish!
So darn cute! Great choice of fabrics too, especially the circle border, it makes the ice cream cones pop out.
I'm glad you found the cherry fabric. It just had to be on top of that mini :)
What a lucky swap partner. And I loved the story about looking for the fabric. Sounds like something I would do.
Congrats, just cast my vote for the arrows. Good luck. And enjoy all that ice cream too.
totally cute! love the cherries.
love...love...the ice cream!
Pretty cute? NOOOO! VERY cute!
Everything is better with a cherry on top.
I love your swap project. It is so fun and I am sure that it will be loved by your swap partner.
Those cones are precious! I can see adding these to a picnic blanket for sure.
Thanks for stopping by my blog too. Have a great weekend!
Why am I suddenly hungry for ice cream? DELICIOUS!
Oh my goodness it is super cute! I'm sure your swap partner is going to love it.
Well now I want an ice cream....great fabrics especially for the cones..:)
These are both so cute! I love these ice cream cones even better than real ones. That cherry on top was a clever idea, too! Nice work!
These are excellent! Your swap partner will be happy.
This is adorable!! And I'm pretty sure I have the same cherry fabric in my stash...
