ACCESSORIES

The other day, this cute little 'cotton and steel' print came into the shop and right away I knew what I could make from it.  Being organized is not one of my strong points. I tend to thrive on chaos! Anyway, I can never find my knitting needles when I want them, so I decided to whip up a needle holder for myself. Years ago, I gave my mother one so I used hers as a pattern.  It's simple, but will do the job.

The little sheep. Seriously : )

There is room for 12 sets. If I can find that many matching pairs, I'll put them away...........

I've had this trim in my stash for a very long time. I thought it was just right for the ties.

Many of you have asked how plans are coming for the new yarn shop.  I am happy to say very well!
I have 3 big orders on the way and am working on a fourth.  It's exciting!

No website yet but I do have a Facebook page that I invite you to visit.  Knit2 Yarns

Thanks for stopping by and happy stitching !

Are you going to make those cute needle cases for the shop? I think you need to do some. Love those fabrics and ribbons you used.

Carla, your needle holder is very cute! I'll bet other knitters would find so too. Now if I could only find a pattern for my circulars .... any ideas?

Love your needle rolls. And SO exciting about the shop!!!

The sheep print is perfect for the needle roll. I cannot imagine better! Mine is just something ancient from Ikea - scraps from curtains I made and nowhere near as nice as sheep. :)

I have a needle roll which a friend made and I don't know how I managed without it! Love yours and the tape measure ties!

Carla, hope you see this - where can one find a pattern for the knitting needle holder like you made? I just love it. What a fun, quick to make, organized way to store one's knitting needles.

Look at you in front of your shop!!! EEK!!!

I thrive on chaos too... but lately I feel like the chaos has overtaken me. That, or the boys have.

The needle holder is ADORABLE! So sweet. What a great idea!
