MORE PROJECTS THAN $EN$E

Has this been a long winter, or is it just me?  I'm finding myself doing a little more shopping these days to help combat the frigid temperatures. At least it warms my heart   : )

These blocks are from the Second Saturday Sampler that Katja is running. If we come that month with our previous month's block done, we get the next one free. So far I've only had to pay the 'fine' once.

On a recent road trip I saw this quilt made up. It was stunning! It's called Cannery Row based on the old fish canneries.

It was all solids and I fell hard. This thing is huge so it may take a while.....

Corey from 'Little Miss Shabby' is designing cross stitched quilt blocks as a stitch along. It's been years since I have done any cross stitch but I couldn't resist the sampler. Block one is 'Swoon'.

........and what's this? Another project. How'd that get there

The colours in this little charm pack drew me in.

More on this one in the near future.

Well as you can see, I've got my work cut out for me. Have a great week everyone.

Life would be so boring without a long list of WIPs, right?
Your solids quilt is going to be gorgeous.
I'm loving the stitch along too! Such a great idea. :) I'm almost finished with the Swoon block.

Glad to see your plans for the week all laid out. Your winter has been exceptionally long and hard, and you have my sympathies for the extreme cabin fever you must be feeling.

It's always fun to read your blog!

Those are some wonderful fabrics. I think all the white of winter just calls for bright colourful fabrics.

I've been using 'I'm on holiday!' as my excuse for a little more shopping than necessary. Looks like you have some fun projects on the go.

I agree with your theory that shopping will (hopefully!) combat the temperatures - and I live in Ont., where it's that much colder! I love that Cannery Row pattern, but what really got my heart pit-a-patting was that Atomic Tabby fabric!
