Here goes nothing! Over at
Ellison Lane Quilts, Jennifer issued a challenge for us to use up those scrap bits by making monochromatic log cabin blocks. I haven't made many log cabins, but the idea of random piecing really appealed to me, so I jumped in. Last night I made my first 3 blocks and I think I'm hooked.

I was going to say exactly what Cheryl said! They look like a colourful row of pumpkins. :) But seriously, they're adorable. I wish I had enough scraps of various colours to do something like that too.

The log cabins are sweet! I was thinking about trying it also but I have way too many projects in the works. So I just pined it for a future project.
